Palma Superyacht Cup 2025

Superyacht Cup Palma 2025: A New Chapter in Mediterranean Sailing
The Superyacht Cup Palma returns from 25–28 June 2025, marking its 29th edition with a fresh venue, a dynamic fleet, and the promise of exhilarating competition. Now hosted at the revitalized Club de Mar-Mallorca, the regatta continues it's legacy as Europe's longest-running superyacht event, blending high-performance racing with the charm of Palma's vibrant social scene.
A Revitalized Venue
This year's regatta introduces a significant change with it's relocation to Club de Mar-Mallorca. Undergoing a comprehensive 360º upgrade, the club now boasts modern, sustainable facilities tailored for larger yachts. This move centralizes the fleet, fostering a more cohesive and electrifying atmosphere both on the water and ashore.
Spotlight on Cervo and Will Bishop
Among the notable entries is the 39-meter sailing yacht Cervo,a masterpiece from Vitters Shipyard, designed by the esteemed Bill Tripp. Cervo made a remarkable debut in the 2024 edition, narrowly missing victory by just one second to the 59-meter Maximus. This year, Cervo returns with renewed vigor. Superyacht Partners' Founding Partner, Will Bishop will be onboard adding his considerable racing experience to the mix. Will's participation underscores our firm's deep-rooted passion for sailing and commitment to excellence in the sailing superyacht arena.
A Diverse and Competitive Fleet
The 2025 lineup showcases a blend of seasoned competitors and fresh contenders:
- Rose, the 24-meter Wally yacht, aims for an unprecedented third consecutive win.
- Gelliceaux, a Farr-designed newcomer, brings fresh competition to the fleet.
- Sveam, a Jaudenes-designed Y8, makes its regatta debut, adding to the event's diversity.
- A trio of Hoek Truly Classic 128s—Linnea Aurora, Atalante, and Vijonara—grace the waters, epitomizing timeless elegance.
The inclusion of four Baltic 68 Café Racers, including Hormar and Pink Gin Verde, introduces a new racing class, highlighting the regatta's evolving competitive landscape.
Social Highlights and Networking Opportunities
Beyond the races, the Superyacht Cup Palma is renowned for it's vibrant social calendar. The event kicks off with the Captain's Briefing and Welcome Cocktail on Wednesday, 25 June. A highlight is the exclusive St.Regis Midsummer BBQ on Thursday, 26 June, offering owners and guests an evening of elegance at the St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort.
