Lynx Yachts

Niche Focus, Innovation and Competitive Edge
Lynx Yachts was founded in 2011 by entrepreneur Slim Bouricha, who having bult his own superyacht, found he was passionate about the experience and wanted to have greater control of the process. He focused on one objective: to deliver premium "Dutch Quality" technically advanced vessels from 20 to 35 meters. Seaworthiness, reliability and exceptional attention to detail were among the shipyard’s highest priorities from the outset. Bouricha set out to unify exterior design, interior styling, and construction within a single facility—drawing on the Netherlands’ long-standing reputation for precision yacht craftsmanship. Leveraging his extensive background in shipbuilding, he chose to base the company in Nijkerk, a region steeped in maritime heritage. This location, known for its pool of highly skilled artisans, proved ideal for assembling a team capable of delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Lynx are passionate about yachts and it is obvious to see. Every project they embark on reflects the love for what they do and an obsession with perfection. As experienced yachtsmen, delivering a yacht that will stand the test time and weather the elements are of grave importance. Each Lynx yacht is designed and built with unparalleled attention to detail, from concept to completion, by an outstanding team of experts using the best materials and technology. Up to now Lynx has pretty much cornered the market in the 20m to 30 meter Adventure / Support yacht market.

Entering a New Era
In September 2024 Lynx merged with Outer Reef Yachts, the well established American yacht builder and dealer. As of H2 2025, new lines continue to be developed and introduced as the merger starts to really take shape. Currently 2 ranges are being built in the existing Dutch shipyard; Continuity is evident in the ASV series, comprosing the YXT 20, YXT 27 and YXT 34 and the "27 Crossover" models.
The "YXT" series provides dedicated platforms for carrying toys, tenders, and additional supplies, the classic Sherpa type support / shadow vessel. The "Crossover" series combines the qualities of a support yacht with a superyacht’s elegance. Both series are semi-custom, offering clients the flexibility to adapt layouts and features to suit their specific lifestyle requirements, whether for long-range cruising or as shadow vessels to larger yachts. to bring the comforts of yachting onboard and moving in to the true explorer yacht range.
The success of each build is the culmination of thousands of hours and countless years of experience. Lynx Yachts’ success is underpinned by a talented and passionate team that have honed their craft and become master boat builders in their own right. Each member has a love for the sea and it is this deep-seated understanding of yacht construction and sailing that ensures clients’ needs are not only met but exceeded.
Focus on Support and Explorer Vessels
Looking forward there is the new "Adventure" series, which mixes the seaworthiness of the YXT platform with the comforts of more traditional superyachts. The Adventure series is a long range "go anywhere" vessel but looks more like a traditional white yacht. Her fast displacement steel hull, fin stabilizers, and noise-minimizing construction work together to create a tranquil onboard atmosphere, making the Adventure 780 the perfect choice for long-distance cruising across varied waters—from the Mediterranean and beyond to remote destinations around the world. Hull number One in the Adventure 780 made her debut at Cannes Yacht Show 2025. Hull number one of the Adventure 540 is currently in production

Iconic Vessels in Operation
Notable custom vessels from the Lynx Yachts fleet include the more traditionally styled Robby Bobbie and Heliad II, both outstanding yachts in their own right. Robbie Bobby, built in 2013 is a striking and stunningly successful 33.5m motor yacht, perfect for luxurious cruising. With a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum of 12.5 knots, she’s designed for smooth, comfortable travel. A spacious flybridge, large deck areas, and a timeless exterior design give her a contemporary appeal while still offering performance and comfort. Heliad II is also known for her traditional exterior and contemporary interior. Both vessels give a clue as to how Lynx and Outer Reef, which might initially seem like an unlikely pairing, came to join forces.

Expect to see bigger lines over 40 meters with new production facilities expected to deliver much increased capacity. It is expected that Lynx Yachts’ new investment, innovative approach and focus on quality and customization, will position it as a prominent player in the evolving support, explorer and "explorer light" yacht sectors. Don't be surprised to see Lynx giving the incredibly successful super high quality Cantiere dell Marche a run for their money.
