4K is a 40 metre sailing yacht built in Germany by the world renowned Abeking & Rasmussen. 4K combines elegant, performance-driven exterior lines by Bill Tripp with proven blue-water capability. Designed as a true family world cruiser, she offers excellent volume, long-range performance, and a refined presence both under sail and at anchor. In Autumn 2025, her guest interior was comprehensively refreshed by Nauta Design, introducing a contemporary, welcoming atmosphere through softened lines, new flooring, and high-quality finishes, while preserving the yacht’s original character. The versatile new layout now includes a gym that can convert into a fourth guest cabin, enhancing flexibility for modern ownership. With an aluminium hull and superstructure, expansive teak decks, a 570hp MTU engine delivering a 2,000-nautical-mile cruising range under power, 4K represents a compelling blend of pedigree, comfort, and long-distance cruising confidence.
Blue Water Comfort
4K's elegant exterior lines reflect both her performance heritage and her pedigree Northern European build quality, resulting in a yacht with a commanding yet refined presence on the water. Designed by renowned yacht designer Bill Tripp, who also developed her naval architecture, 4K combines sleek proportions with proven seakeeping, making her as capable under sail as she is visually impressive at anchor or underway. Her aluminium hull and superstructure provide strength, lightness, and durability, complemented by expansive teak decks that offer generous outdoor living and entertaining spaces. Designed for up to 3 months autonomy and with she is perfectly suited to long-distance cruising, exploring in comfort and with confidence.

From the outset, the design focused on a highly practical yet elegant layout, ideally suited to extended passages and comfortable life on board. In Autumn 2025, a comprehensive interior refresh was commissioned to re-imagine the guest spaces for the next generation of owners. Nauta Design of Milan was entrusted with the transformation, introducing a refined scheme that softens architectural lines—resulting in a fresh, contemporary atmosphere while respecting the yacht’s original character. The upgrade is defined by the use of exceptional, high-quality materials, creating a warm and welcoming ambience that further enhances the generous proportions of the guest areas and elevates the overall onboard experience. A standout addition is the newly incorporated gym located forward of the lower salon, offering excellent versatility as it can also be configured as a fourth guest cabin when required—perfectly balancing lifestyle, comfort, and flexibility.
