Formosa is a custom Benetti superyacht launched in 2015 and refitted in 2025. With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers substantial displacement volume (~1,089 GT) and is built for serious long‑range cruising. Her naval architecture and exterior design come from Benetti’s in‑house team; the interior is by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. She accommodates up to thirteen guests (in six cabins) and carries around fifteen crew. Her performance is solid: a cruising speed of ~13–14 knots, a top speed of ~16.5 knots, and a range of about 5,000 nautical miles.

The exterior areas are designed for both luxury and variety. On the sundeck there's a hot tub, bar and large sun‑bathing areas aft; there’s also (according to the sale listing) a ‘touch & go’ helipad on the sundeck. The owner’s deck features al fresco dining, and the main deck aft connects via a large swim platform / garage when the transom opens up. There’s also a private observation top deck offering excellent views. Materials like teak are used for the decks, and the lines are clean and flowing, giving a classic yet contemporary profile.

Inside, Formosa blends light and exotic woods, natural stone, marble, creams and blues in its colouring. The layout is particularly well thought‑out: the owner’s suite is on the upper deck, forward, with large windows and its own study and private deck; two VIP staterooms are on the main deck; the remaining guest cabins are on the lower deck. There’s a full‑height glass elevator linking the guest decks. Special indoor features include a cinema room. The interior design by Sinot emphasises comfort, luxury, but also functionality.
