MINI Y is a 26 m (85′4″) sloop launched in 2018 by Baltic Yachts. She combines a striking visual presence with a lightweight composite construction and practical sailing features that make her both beautiful and functional. Her interior, deck layout, and systems are arranged to favour ease of handling and comfortable cruising rather than overly complex systems. The yacht accommodates up to four guests in two cabins, supported by a crew of four. The design philosophy emphasises refined simplicity: luxury, but pared‑back. With naval architecture and exterior design by Dixon Yacht Design, who have a particular affinity for the requirements of yachts intended for comfortable cruising, Mini -Y is the quintessential performance cruiser. Displacing just 50 tons, light-ship, she’s constructed of an E-Glass outer skin, a carbon inner skin and a foam core with lightweight carbon bulkheads and panels used throughout. A telescopic lifting keel with an 11.39-ton bulb reduces draft to 3m ensuring sailing performance and the ability to navigate in shallow anchorages.

Striking, Efficient, Purposeful
MINI Y’s exterior is characterised by a sleek, silver‑hued hull with clean sheer lines and a silhouette that balances performance and elegance. The hull is built with an advanced composite sandwich: E‑glass outer layers, internal carbon reinforcement, foam core, plus carbon bulkheads and structural panels, providing stiffness at light weight. Her telescopic lifting keel with an 11.39‑ton bulb allows draft to be reduced to about 3 m (approx. 9′8″), enabling access to more varied cruising grounds. Under sail, she can race along at over 15 knots, while the auxiliary Volvo D4‑180 engine delivers a maximum of 10.5 knots under power. The deck layout offers generous open space, sunbathing areas, and good sightlines, while integrated steps lead down into the interior.

Refined, Relaxed, Rarefied
The yacht’s accommodation, with clean, modern styling by Mark Whitely Design, includes a light and airy saloon, a large owner’s suite forward with one twin guest cabin all finished in a beautiful pear wood. Detailed planning has resulted in an unusually large amount of space for the owners and their guests giving the impression below of a much larger yacht. MINI Y is arranged to feel open and connected. The main salon integrates lounge and dining areas: on the port side a corner couch with a concealed TV and surround sound, on starboard a dining table with bench seating. The interior joinery hides technology elegantly and keeps lines clean. The galley is located in the crew quarters, with additional seating, providing functional support without intruding on the guest spaces. Her two guest cabins are comfortable and well proportioned for the yacht’s size, with attention to light, ventilation, and comfort.
