Exploration meets elegance in this rugged yacht

The 2015-built STORM is a 32.6-metre Darwin Class explorer yacht by Cantiere delle Marche, designed for long-range cruising with an emphasis on seaworthiness and self-sufficiency. Constructed with a robust steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she balances ocean-going capabilities with a refined interior and practical layout. Her 7.7-metre beam gives her excellent internal volume for her length, making her feel more spacious than many yachts in her class. Built to RINA classification and MCA-compliant, STORM is equally suited to private cruising or charter operations. Her range of 4,000 nautical miles and impressive fuel efficiency make her ideal for extended adventures without frequent stops. Her naval architecture by Hydro Tec and interiors by PFA Design blend function with style, focusing on durability without sacrificing comfort. Maintained to a high standard with a consistent upgrade schedule, she is a proven world cruiser with excellent pedigree and design foresight.

Tough exterior built for global adventures

STORM’s exterior embodies the Darwin Class philosophy: a purposeful, ocean-ready look with clean lines and substantial deck spaces. Her steel displacement hull and raised bow deliver performance and stability in a range of sea states, while her exterior design prioritises practical use and resilience. The upper deck offers an alfresco dining area with commanding views, and her sundeck includes a lounging zone and crane for tender storage, maintaining full exploration capability. The wide walkaround decks and robust guardrails enhance safety during passage-making, and there’s ample room for toy storage, diving gear, and tender deployment. Her exterior finish has been well cared for, with recent touch-ups ensuring she maintains a strong presence in any port. Functional and attractive, STORM offers a yacht exterior tailored to adventure, without compromising the comfort expected from a luxury vessel.

Interior design

Functional luxury with a warm, modern feel

The interior of STORM, styled by Pierluigi Floris and Marco Amadio of PFA Design, offers a relaxed, contemporary aesthetic with natural tones, oak panelling, and soft furnishings throughout. Her main saloon is bright and inviting, with large windows providing excellent natural light and sea views. The open-plan layout includes a comfortable lounge area and formal dining space. Accommodations include five well-appointed cabins for up to twelve guests, comprising a full-beam master suite, 2 x VIP doubles, and 2 x twin cabins. Each cabin is fitted with ensuite facilities and finished to a high standard, with a balance of minimalist elegance and practical detailing. The yacht also accommodates six crew members in three cabins, ensuring a high standard of service. Her galley and crew areas are efficiently laid out, supporting long-term cruising or charter use with ease. Overall, the interior combines warmth, modernity, and usability—ideally suited for family cruising or hosting guests on extended voyages.
