Checkmate

Launched in 2013, CHECKMATE is one of the most recent hulls in the seminal Benetti Vision series that changed the face of semi-custom Italian yacht building and was the influencer for many of the sub 500 GT Italian series yachts that we see today.

CHECKMATE’s comfortable cruising speed is 14 knots, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,500 nm at 12 knots, with power coming from two Caterpillar diesel engines. CHECKMATE also features a Williams 5.65m diesel jet powered tender.

She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 staterooms that are looked after by up to 10 crew members. The interior is extremely voluminous, and the layout highly functional, with the useable guest space feeling significantly more spacious than most modern 500 GT designs.

CHECKMATE comes onto the market in excellent condition, having undergone a complete technical refit in 2021 at CRN Shipyard and a veritable interior remodelling in 2022.
