LUNA is a 114.2 metre (375 ft) expedition yacht of extraordinary scale and pedigree, built by Lloyd Werft in Germany and delivered in 2010. Commissioned by a visionary owner and designed in collaboration with Newcruise‑Yacht Projects & Design and Donald Starkey, she was conceived as one of the most capable luxury yachts on the planet. With a rugged ice-class hull and vast fuel capacity, she is engineered to reach the most remote regions — from Arctic waters to tropical archipelagos — while offering guests an ultra-luxurious environment onboard. Accommodating up to 18 guests in nine vast staterooms and serviced by a large, expertly managed crew, LUNA represents the pinnacle of long-range cruising yachts. Following an extensive refit in 2015–16, she remains in immaculate, turn-key condition with all major systems updated for global operation.
Immense decks, explorer build, global capability.
LUNA’s commanding exterior combines military-grade functionality with graceful, high-volume design. Her robust steel hull is certified to ice-class standards, ensuring access to high-latitude destinations, while her aluminium superstructure optimises performance. Among her signature features are two large helipads (fore and aft), an expansive sun deck with commanding views, and a fully equipped beach club at sea level. The yacht also houses vast tender garages capable of storing multiple boats, submersibles, or adventure equipment. Wide, open decks and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions create exceptional spaces for socialising, dining, and relaxing — whether hosting a high-profile event or enjoying serene isolation in a remote anchorage. With a top speed of approximately 22 knots and transoceanic range, she offers both presence and performance in equal measure.

Monumental volume meets indulgent detail.
LUNA’s interior is designed to offer the ultimate in luxury, comfort and lifestyle flexibility. Each of the nine guest suites is palatial in scale — many over 100 square metres — with sophisticated materials, large windows, and fully appointed en-suites. The master suite enjoys panoramic views and private access to exterior lounging areas. Her vast interior volume allows for multiple dedicated zones: a formal dining salon, cinema lounge, spa with sauna and steam room, and a fully equipped gym with ocean-facing windows. The social spaces are refined yet relaxed, styled with rich timbers, natural stone, leather and bespoke artworks. A spectacular swimming pool forms the heart of the exterior living area, flanked by shaded lounge spaces and open decks. Heat, light and acoustics throughout the yacht are finely tuned for comfort in any environment, supporting both long stays and active cruising.
