Amels Pollux

Long sweeping curves meet sharp surfacing and edges that play with light. From the bow a recess of jet black runs along the covered mooring deck to the faceted bonded glass by the Main Deck guest staterooms.

The 111-metre yacht POLLUX is an AMELS Full Custom concept with an exterior design by H2 Yacht Design and a layout and naval architecture by AMELS Design. The large volume 4,750 Gross Tonnage design covers seven decks, including accommodation for 20 guests with a spacious Owners Deck just under the Sun Deck, two VIP Suites on Bridge Deck and seven Main Deck Guest Staterooms.

Outdoor spaces

With ample decks, there are plenty of spaces to enjoy – from the Sun Deck firepit to the 10-metre swimming pool and huge Beach Club. The yacht has generous storage for watersports and diving gear, including waverunners and tenders for Owner and Guest use and two SOLAS lifeboats to comply with Passenger Yacht Code safety requirements.

A true ocean-going yacht, the autonomous yacht carries more than sufficient fuel for transatlantic range,with maximum stowage for all purposes, including chartering. The 47 crew plus Captain can discretely access all parts of the vessel, providing the very highest levels of service, entertainment and hospitality.

Hybrid performance

Project POLLUX is a full-displacement, twin-screw motor yacht with round-bilge steel hull and aluminium superstructure. All machinery is engineered and located for easy maintenance, based on years of AMELS’ experience and crew feedback. The engines are Tier III compliant and the advancedAMELS Hybrid Power system includes separate generator rooms, battery bank and switchboard room for peak shaving and managed load shedding. Waste heat recovery improves HVAC efficiency,and heats pools and potable water on board.
